Communitys
There is quite a few Japanese communities in Australia. The
most populated places are: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Cairns and Broome. In
2011 35,378 Japanese people by birth where living in Australia and 50,761 by
ancestry. Most Japanese people that live here in Australia mostly speak fluent
Japanese but some have Japanese ancestry in the family. After World War 2
Japanese people were very hesitant to travel to Australia after all that
happened. It took the Japanese people a few years to finally get the courage to
come to Japan.
